M45 Valve Joystick Removal / Replacement

Step 1: Remove any covers to gain access to the valve body being converted, remove the handle and cut the zip tie at base to remove the rubber dust boot. Loosen and remove the 3 M5 bolts holding the top plate, remove the top plate.

Step 2: Using a 13mm socket and open ended wrench (or small vice grips) loosen and remove the two linkages from the spool valves.

Step 3: Remove the final linkage on the joystick bracket and remove it.

Step 4: Loosen and remove the two M4 bolts holding the boot-plate and remove it.

Step 5: Loosen the four M5 bolts holding the spool retaining brackets on the valve and remove them. Reverse these steps to reinstall.
