Rato 739cc / 670cc Pull Starter Kit

One complete OEM direct fit kit to add a recoil starter to your electric start 670cc (like the Harbor freight predator 670) or 739cc Rato engine. This kit will allow you to start your engine if your battery has died and takes about 10 minutes to install or less.

After some testing with a completely dead battery, we've determined that removing the spring and plunger from the anti backfire solenoid in the carb is required if the battery is completely 0v dead.

If you're running our electric fuel pump kit, we also recommend leaving the factory vacuum impulse pump installed as backup to help start if the battery is dead. 

If the battery is fully dead, The most reliable way to start if you have an electric pump is by unplugging the power connector to the pump, pinch the end of the line at the top of the electric fuel pump and loosen the hose clamp enough to remove it. Turn the hose upward to keep gas from spilling and start the engine, once running, reconnect the fuel line to the pump and reconnect the electric pump.
